2014 Tudor United Sports Car Championship

The Grand-Am and ALMS (American Le Mans Series) have merged into one event. Grand-Am bought ALMS and some tracks for 22 million dollars. Just to give you a rundown of what they did. They got rid of P1 sadly. You will, however, get to see the P1's race in FIA's endurance Championship, which includes Le Mans. They combined P2 and Daytona Prototype and created the Prototype class (DP cars will have 60% increase in down force to keep up with P2 in handling and the P2 cars will be slower due to the standard Continental tires.). The Prototype Challenge cars will be called PC. The only thing different about the ALMS GT series is a name change, they will be called GT Le Mans. Finally they combined The ALMS GT Challenge with the Grand-Am GX and Rolex GT to make GT Daytona. I hope this works out because I love the ALMS. Tomorrow I will have some news on the new 911 Carrera Turbo S.
